i was on facebook, where i came across bob (an ocs mate) photos of this 'last kampung' in singapore, which i am now determined to go there on a random sunday morning.
interestingly, it took NYC to run an article on it
in any case, i thought it was a real shame, we have still quite a bit of land to go around, i'm sure we can keep this little place for later.
side note, i'll love to open an old-school-kopi-tiam here :)

haha i went to the place during my JC days for some project about Singapore. Pretty cool place. We even interviewed some of the residents there. Nice people :)
